Theresa May to become prime minister on Wednesday
Theresa May will take over as prime minister on Wednesday, David
Cameron has announced.
Mr Cameron said Mrs May would assume control after he has taken his
last Prime Minister's Questions and offered his resignation to the
Queen.
It comes after Andrea Leadsom withdrew from the Conservative
leadership race to succeed David Cameron.
