You have missed the point here.Why would these hapless villagers vent their anger in

the courts of law where they have no locus.

It is always stated that a weaker person believes even spitting at the bully terrorizing him or

her is a great achievement.

These fellows are at their wits`end and so are irrational in their judgement that we should see it

as a sign of a nation weighed down by hopelessness.

Okeya Gwokto,

I think there is something wrong with Uganda justice both in the Court and under mob justice. Why could they not always hunt those who are corrupt in the high offices and give their quick verdict against corruption injustices?

I think, the chicken and, or cock values are very  cheap comparing with the massive corruptions in the high offices!

Bugiri — A 20- year-old man has been killed by a mob in Musanzi village, Bugiri District for allegedly stealing a cock valued at Shs20, 000.

Robert Okware, was a resident of Kayangu Ba village in Kapiango Sub-county.

Bugiri District Police Commander, Mr Idris Kyeyune said the suspect is believed to have stolen the chicken from the home of Mr Desterio Okecho of Busanzi village at night.

However, he was trailed by residents who arrested and beat him to death.

Mr Kyeyune condemned the act saying mob action is illegal.

He said the people who were involved in the lynching of the suspect are being would be arrested.
