BY AMBROSE MUSIIME ON AUGUST 26, 2016NEWS
Police is hunting its own 216 police officers who escaped from counter terrorism training at Nakasongora airbase that ended today.
Andrew Felix Kaweesi the police spokesperson said the group was part of the entire 421 force that was sent four months ago for advanced training in counter terrorism.
Kaweesi said the officers were supposed to acquire skills in urban fighting, Land Warfare, canal handling and specialized airborne training among others necessary in combating terrorism but escaped because of hard training conducted by Israeli commandos.
Today, 205 counter terrorism officers managed complete course and graduated as warriors, tactical rappellers, canal operators, snipers, medics and Canine handlers.
The police publicist said the 2016 will be hunted down and will be charged in police tribunal
