{UAH} Norbert Mao triumphs at great African forum in Nairobi

Democratic Party president Hon Mr Norbert Mao was a star

performer at the recently concluded workshop on alternative

approaches on democratization in the Greater Horn of Africa.

The workshop was held last week at the Hilton in Nairobi under

the auspices of IGAD, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and the Greater

Horn Horizon Forum (GHHF) which is and independent forum in form

of a think tank that gathers scholars and intellectuals from the entire

Horn of Africa region and proposes policy research and dialogue aimed at

building consensus on a new vision for the region which has been a real

theatre of bad events for decades. Mao was one of the four Ugandans invited

at the workshop and his performance was superb and beyond ordinary

definition. The other Ugandans ( all from Makerere University )also did a very commendable work and were well seen by all participants who saw in them a
true academic resurgence of Makerere University.
