Kyamadidi quarreling with police

Supporters of former Rwampara Member of Parliament Vincent Mujuni Kyamadidi of the ruling National Resistance Movement  (NRM) have defected to the Forum for Democratic Change ( FDC) party a week after he lost election petition.

Kyamadi, who dragged his successor Charles Ngabirano to court challenging his election, lost the petition following a ruling by Mbarara High Court in which the case was dismissed with costs for lack of sufficient evidence.

After being defeated in the NRM primaries by Ngabirano, Kyamadidi contested in the February 2016 elections as an Independent for Rwampara County
