You cannot get any better example of Somali Excellence. Hannah and Amani Yusuf, from Kings Monkton school in Roath, are amazing. Definitely, there is plenty to celebrate in the Yusuf house tonight as these sisters swept the board in their exams.
Kings Monkton pupil Hannah Yusuf achieved 13 A* grades in her GCSE results. She will now go on to study five A-Levels, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Maths and History, at the school's sixth-form.
Hannah, 16, from Splott , then hopes to study medicine at university.
On the same day, her younger sister Amani picked up 2 A*s and 3As on Thursday, having taken five exams a year early.
Hannah said: "The past two years have indeed been full of hard work and many late nights. It will be a time I'll always look back on; two years of hard work, joy, excitement and relief.
