Gwokto My home in Mindanao is flooded again- third time in 5 years.
The dangers of living on a beach on the seaside- very beautiful and
idyllic but real hell when nature strikes. There is nothing to compare
with the sea in rage!! It is totally destructive, but atleast my house
will not be sucked into the sea as happens to many neighbours homes
that are not reinforced and flood resistant. But I have to replace all
the furniture and electrics again. .In Uganda we are very luck because
we don't have all these natural disasters that Filipinos face every
year. Typhoons occur every single year without fail.
"Dear George, It's raining cats and dogs right now here. The water
almost reach the floor level of our house for only an hour. I hope and
pray the rain will stop now. Keep well."
