SV: {UAH} A Brilliant Genocide: An Opinion

Okello DOKOLO and UAH folks,
FIRST, fellow Ugandans I ask my brother Okello DOKOLO to be quite very careful since it seems he does know what took places in Acoliland when the genocide projects had started. I think it might have been taking when Okello DOKOLO was away from Uganda or was not clearly well informed.
Clearly, let us not forget that when that ongoing genocide projects was taking places during that periods there were several political marriages between NRA/M7ism with some very powerful folks from Lango sub-region.
I think, this might be the very reason Okello DOKOLO was concealed without knowing that ongoing political infernos taking places in Acoliland hence, he is not seeing things from the painful angle OLARA Otunnu was seeing and feeling it.
SECOND, my brother Okello DOKOLO, be informed that during that period Acoli folks were clearly isolated. They could not be given places for sanctuary in Lango. It was not easy for our folks and our folks have to cross River Nile up to Bweyale in Kiryandongo district Bunyoro Kitara Kingdo. Why am I saying this?
Bcos if Acoli folks could not get sanctuary and peace for their children even at the bus parks in Lira how should Okello DOKOLO feel OLARA Otunnu is telling lies or on sort of self-pity?
LASTLY, to cut my high blood temperature down, may I ask you Okello DOKOLO how much have you done better than OLARA Otunnu or you are trying to give us some new calculation?
YES, NRA/M7ism had given Uganda back to the imperialists and I think, there must be a true collective position for the journey forward through comparing notes to succeed to remove ourselves.

I also attended the screening.
I was surprised by the eloquency of  Sejjusa in the film, who admits to the carefully planned dictatorship and totalitarian regime of M7.
Sejjusa more or less agrees with Otunnu that the genocide against the Acholi was carefully planned because M7 had to take the military power from them.
I liked the observation of Dr Adam Branch that UG's have got to appreciate that politics is not played by only naming your enemies ( when Dr.Magombe mentioned Beti Kamya) but by making (maybe secret) alliances with others to get over the serious problems present .
I also liked Otunnu's assertion that the Acholi genocide is denied by the western powers who support M7, and by most Ugandans as well.
The film reminded me of similar crimes kandoya, (tying one in hammock style), andaaki (burning of live people in a hole), kafuuni (hammering your skull in) which we heard of in the Luwero war.
Watching M7 at his most powerful and arrogant, meeting Bush, Bill Clinton, Hilary Clinton, The Queen, The Obama's,
Tony Blair, made me realise how pathetic Ugandans is.
That a fake entity of greedy stupid tribes,  allowed a half educated Rwandese to take over the country, and continue the killing he found in place, until he created the Perfect Genocide.
So perfect that he had not been rumbled up to now.

A Brilliant Genocide Film Documentary was screened yesterday evening at at Piccadilly Circus, London. The event was sold out, and I met a few of the UAH members, including Joseph Ochieno, Milton Alimadi, John Latigo and plenty of others.

Otunnu made
a very powerful address, on the Genocide that happened in northern Uganda, specifically aimed at wiping out the Acholi as a people. Otunnu contended it was the deliberate intention and policy of Rwandan outlaw Kayibanda Museveni and the NRA gangster movement to wipe out an entire people, only the first time it had been attempted since the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler. He distinguished the NRA progroms from others before it, in that genocides like in Rwanda, Yugoslavia, Iraq etc tended to be sudden, concentrated bursts of violence that lasted a short duration of probably 2-3 years, whereas the one in Acholi was drawn out over 20 years, and was systematic, carefully planned, assiduously orchestrated following a pre-determined pattern aimed at delivering a Final Solution; ie the total elimination of the Acholi people;

1. First Kill the Acholi people.
2. Take away their Land
3. Destroy their culture and identity as a people and Make Them Slaves.

Otunnu said Kayibanda has in fact almost succeeded in his mission of wiping out the Acholi people. He contended the Acholi of old is almost dead- her rich cultural heritage reduced to ashes, her people deliberately marginalised and removed from all positions of power and authority; and her land is now being systematically grabbed by Kayibanda and given away to foreigners. 20 years of brutal encampment have almost destroyed the Acholi traditional systems of governance and completely corrupted the culture that had kept the society together for centuries.

Otunnu painted a very bleak picture of what would amount to one of the greatest crimes ever committed in the history of humanity and human civilisation, and that this crime took place in the full glare of the world without anybody doing anything to stop it. Kayibanda was given free reign to implement one of the worst episodes of barbarity ever inflicted on human beings anywhere in the world.

Dr Adam Branch, who is probably the only western academic to document the suffering of the Acholi people, and the holocaust they went through also gave testimony. Other panellists included Dr Vincent Magombe.

The Documentary itself is a very powerful rendition of the darkness of man's heart, how a very cruel and sadistic maniac, obsessed with power, was allowed to run amok among a totally defenceless people and set about murdering them just for fun. The Documentary also makes it very clear that Kayibanda Museveni's genocide was actively aided and abetted by US and western imperialism, especially as through-out the period of genocide, including in the darkest excesses of the tragedy when over 1,000 people were dying per day, the USA officials, including George Bush, continued to laud and fet the brutal monster Kayibanda and hailed him as a moderniser and hero of African renaissance. Kayibanda is reputed to have received almost $120 billion in so-called aid and development assistance, money which he used to perfect his genocide. The Documentary draws the sickening picture of George Bush congratulating Kayibanda Museveni for making a "great" contribution to humanity in his "fight" against HIV/AIDS, when in reality, Kayibanda's mercenary army the NRA was engaged in a cruel practice of using HIV/AIDS as a weapon of  war, raping both men and women in their thousands and deliberately spreading HIV/AIDS in order to wipe out the Acholi population or sow terror in their hearts so as to reinforce their impotence and subservience and make them easy fodder for enslavement.

There was not much chance for debate, because of time limitation. My only criticism is that being a mainly victim narrative, the political explanation for Kayibanda Museveni's grosteque violence and savagery remains largely unexplained. Secondly, the suffering of the Acholi people is made to be unique to the Acholi people, whereas kayibanda Museveni's barbarity and Rwandan occupation of our country has inflicted harm and suffering all across Uganda, and Eastern Uganda in particular Teso. Lastly the documentary as well as some participants tended to portray the Acholi people as totally isolated from the rest of Uganda at the time they faced the darkest hour in their long history. This is not true because very many Ugandans have raised their voices at various levels in condemnation of Kayibanda Museveni's open attempt to wipe out an entire people. This point is important to note because the Acholi people will have to rise up from the ashes, and they can not do this without the rest of Uganda rising together with them.

The Documentary is a valuable contribution to the unmasking of the brutality of Rwandan outlaw Kayibanda Museveni, and is one of the many attempts Ugandans will use to bring world attention to their suffering. The world can not surely turn a blind eye anymore to the suffering of Ugandans. The Documentary is also a rminder that we will bring Kayibanda Museveni and his henchmen to justice, no matter how long it will take. He will be be punished and should have no illusions about our determination.
