SV: {UAH} Police van runs over food brought to Dr Kiiza Besigye - Despicable

 Mw Semuwemba,
I am sorry I am those who will never support your plea. Why? Bcos was the very civil human face that brought the NRA/M7ism to power. Under his own positions before coming to power and on coming to power he used to gloats of going to meet the late MOBUTU of Congo Kinshasa to collect weapons for murdering Ugandans.
Lakini, Mw Semuwemba do you genuinely belief in what you are talking or those who were murdered with the weapons BESIGYE gloated about were worthless human beings? I think and belief BESIGYE is harvesting what he had planted! Do you recall when men, women and children were being raped by the soldiers those were carrying the weapons brought by BESIGYE from MOBUTU of Congo Kinshasa?
Lastly, BESIGYE had told Ugandans that he enjoys 90% supports of NRA/UPDF troops. The question is, why are they not coming to rescue him if he truly enjoys such very high supports in the army? Methinks, both BESIGYE and his opponents are just duping Ugandans without any reality in what is happening in Uganda! Both BESIGYE and M7 are not good for Ugandans since they are fighting for their own interests!

Ingrid is, as you say, tough like a nail. The coverage was on Bukedde TV 1 and NTV. She was personally lifting those blocks with her hands and policemen were holding the other end and she would drag them,,,until they gave up and let Besigye go through.

Thats what happens when something is done repeatedly....she has been in police hands countless times...now she does not fear them.

I don't know her marital status.

Nzee Mirima,
No, I didnt see it. That Ingrid is as tough as a nail. I dont know what drives her but she's not the kind of a woman to be messed with. Is she still married?

Did you see Ingrid Turagumanawe fighting with three policemen struggling to clear the police blocks...those with nails to piece motor vehecle tyres...she singgle handedly removed them and Besigye went through.

Supposing there were 100 Besigyes....100 Ingrid Turagumanwe.....Uganda would be free by now.

WHAT'S HAPPENING TO BESIGYE IS SO DISGUSTING!

Every Ugandan regardless of their political affiliations should condemn what's happening to Dr.Kiiza Besigye at his home in Kasangati. This act alone has greater repercutions, one of which might be that the one oppressed now can be the one torturing another tomorrow if we continue with the current trend(no respect for the law) in the country. I believe that, for a policeman or any government official, being honest and truthful on all sides is very important no matter what side it comes from. I also believe being open minded and taking the time to understand all sides is a must. There is already too much dividing in the country and hate. If we as people continue to join in on these kind of actions we all are doomed to a very rough future. We should speak out for all injustices regardless which human they are. God orders us to do so.

Unfortunately, when you join a movement you tend to become so extremely one-sided, that you are never allowed to acknowledge the wrong on 'your' side. I'm yet to read a comment from my NRM friends especially on facebook condemning what Besigye is being subjected to. I sometimes criticise the opposition, and I sometimes fall out with certain people, because I dont fear criticism.

The criticism you receive when you write something against Museveni or NRM is a projection of their lack of ability to analyse issues objectively. It's the limitations within their own belief systems that cause some to react negatively toward your approach. You are learning to dissolve societal opinion structures- it's not an easy thing to do. I always remind myself to have patience and that I was like that at one point too. Every now and then I reflect on my views to make sure I'm not being biased myself. I used to write a lot of crap against Obote, without looking at issues hollistically, but I have calmed down on that. Those UPC guys, especially my mate, Joseph Ochieno, gave me hell, but what's hapenning to Besigye now is so disgusting!
