{UAH} POJIM: Al Gore and Trump Said the Same Thing and CORRECTLY so!

Edward,
you have now gone into a different matter.  You are discussing the merits of Al Gore's decision to challenge the results of the elections.  That is different from his RIGHT to challenge the results.  Both trump and Al Gore rightfully kept their options open to challenge elections in case they did not agree with the way they were conducted.  That is the CORRECT LEGAL position.  There is no sense in preempting one's right to challenge elections in case there is rigging.
Supposing Al Gore or Trump had promised not to challenge the election results and then evidence of rigging is disclosed.  If the candidate tried to challenge the results, the media AND folks like you would point to the candidate's words promising to accept the results!
Therefore, it was correct for Trump keep his options open...of course that does NOT mean that I support Trump.  I am opposed to both Trump AND Hillary.
thanks

Joseph;

I don't know how old you were in 2000 or whether you followed that year's US elections.

But I advise you to learn a little more about the Florida recount saga, and what necessitated it.

What Donald Trump said on Wednesday is a threat to the cornerstone of America's electoral integrity in particular, and its democracy in general. Moreover, his propensity to incite violence among his anti-everything supporters threatens civil harmony and peaceful transfer of power.

One need not be a Hillary Clinton supporter to appreciate the danger that Donald Trump poses to the United States. His impulse to belittle and molest should repulse any decent person, irrespective of their gender.

Luckily, I still believe, there are more decent voters out there than his radical fans, and come Nov 8, those voters will save America from Trump.

here is Al Gore SEVERAL days AFTER the elections...he specifically echoes Trump's words.  He left his options open.  I think that is the correct legal position to take.  You don't want to preempt your right to challenge the results in case evidence of rigging is later discovered!  Anyway, here is Al Gore in his own words:
