{UAH} Thomas Friedman on the GOP: ‘Maybe This Party Just Needs to Crash and Burn’

New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman today suggested that the Republican Party exploding might be the best thing for them.

On Meet the Press this morning,Chuck Todd what would possibly happen to Republican leadership if they lose the House.

Friedman said on the one hand they need some "skin in the game" because of that whole functioning-two-party-system thing, but he also offered forth this alternative:

 

"Maybe this party just needs to crash and burn, and this version of the Republican Party needs to die so out of the ashes… we will get… a sane Republican party."
