{UAH} Washington metropolitan area

The Washington metropolitan area is the metropolitan area centered on
Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. The area includes
all of the federal district and parts of the U.S. states of Maryland
and Virginia, along with a small portion of West Virginia.

The Washington metropolitan area is the most educated and, by some
measures, the most affluent metropolitan area in the United States.[3]
As of the 2014 U.S. Census Bureau estimate, the population of the
Washington metropolitan area was estimated to be 6,097,684, making it
the largest metropolitan area in the Southeast and the sixth-largest
metropolitan area in the country.[4] Wikipedia.
Washington Metropolitan is made up of eight cities some with less than
500,000 residents.
But Entebbe, Wakiso, Nabweru and Kira cities, each is with not less
than 500,000 residents according to last census.
Mark you Washington DC, the federal capital of US, is under a
democratically elected mayor not an appointed executive director by
the central government.
