The word "TANG"in Luo –
Acoli language is quite hard to translate clearly into
English word.The word "TANG" has many meanings in Luo
– Acoli language.
First,
"TANG" is adverb – omoko wokoLITANG – means it is
quite stuck and cannot move back or forward for
example.
Second,
"TANG" is pronoun – Pe mit– Notnice or nasty taste!
Third, "TANG" is noun
– Wot atiranyim "TANG" onyo ngak tung acam onyo
acuc – Branch on the left or right.
Lastly, so you can see the word "TANG" has
many meaning.
