{UAH} Expert French professor on USA predicts possibility of Trump's victory!
Things are moving very fast as the USA formally goes to the polls today ( 08/11/16).
Difficult to see very clearly the winner as a poll from the White House circles only gives Clinton a 2-points margin over Trump and this brings worry to the Democrats! And a good number of Americans of French origin interviewed in many cities including Miami raise their hands for Trump whom they judge very apt to do wonders in the economy, a thing which relates to them so much as most of them are investors in the country.Meanwhile, a leading French expert scholar on the politics of the USA, Professor Jean-Eric Branaa of the University of Paris II (Assas) who is monotoring the situation right from all corners of the US has noted that according to his observation on the spot Republican Donald Trump has all the possibilities of winning the presidential election. Many things were playing in his favour. He has first of all shown that he wasn't a clown or a madman. It was the journalists who mistook him for such a type of individual not even caring to notice that he was a candidate who had succeeded in running a very big commercial enterprise which has all along been operating successfully and that it was that experience which was enabling him to post an attractive economic manifesto that at present draws thousands of voters to him!
On Clinton with the FBI the professor is categorical when he states that what most Americans have come to is the proverbial conclusion that there is no smoke without fire. He further states that America is a place where the law is law, and for everyone including Hillary Clinton!
Asked on the electoral " theory " that the candidate who wins the state of Ohio wins the election the professor made it clear that Ohio mattered a lot and it was so far tilting to Trump who enjoys a 4-points lead. He further observed that Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin were all part of the great US industrial belt where new technologies have led to the killing of many jobs in the region. And Trump has proved very heroic in assuring the locals of his readiness to help and find new solutions. He has sold the idea of resurrecting the coal industry and all affiliates to create thousands of jobs in the area. And he is determined to seek more avenues on the crucial question. The professor praises Trump on this effort which earns him points as a potential president with concern for the marginalized.
Asked about Florida's early voting in which 3 to 4 million people have already participated and the forecasts already see a Clinton victory there because of the massive vote by the Latinos, the professor, on his part, qualified the exercise as a failure for Clinton because the voting showed that the community vote remained stable ( 70% Whites, 14% Latinos, and 11% Blacks ) and that therefore the patterns hadn't changed to favour a Latinos push. And he qualified that as a failure on the part of Clinton. In the same swoop the professor dismisses anything to do with the vote of Hispanics as being solidly favourable to Clinton. He observes that the Hispanics who were already in the USA doing menial jobs were worried of those other clandestine Hispanics who on arrival were immediately recruited and made to accept low wages, a thing which undermines the presence of the already-established Hispanics who were now eager to embrace Trump's idea of constructing a wall to prevent the entry of any new arrivals. And the professor concludes that those ancient Hispanics were systematically opting for Trump as a surety of their economic safety..
Concluding on his observations, Prof Jean-Eric Branaa points to Trump's dynamics and qualifies him as a go-ahead person and a winner! And as everyone runs to the winner, so everybody will go with the winner, and that will be Trump!
Indeed today will be a very important day in world history. Billions of people all over the entire globe are going to follow this election which be a land-mark in human history. Many things may change with this election depending on who will be voted in. Europe will change. And Africa will change especially if Trump takes office and shows special concern on Africa's key problems which he has strongly placed on bad leadership.
