{UAH} NEW MEMBERS: WELCOME TO THE UAH FORUM

Dear Members,
Thank you for the 9 years since I founded this forum. Wow, have we built a huge group! Our UAH has over 250,000 followers!

Please be respectful and only post messages that dont violate our UAH rules.Treating someone with respect does not include agreeing with their opinions! We do ban violators. Some of our members are notorious for lacking civility towards those they disagree with while demanding respect and civility for their points of view. These are the members that think that I hate Museveni, and that UAH is anti-establishment. All of us should address that problem and this group becomes what it was intended to be - a voice for the voiceless, a bridge between the Ugandans in diaspora and those at home, a bridge between the leaders and the led,e.t.c. We all need to support one another, and support comes from allowing the possibility that there are opposing opinions and different approaches.

Unfortunately demanding civility does not necessarily mean the demand will be met. It's something that will cause some folks to dig in their heels and resist. That's why we(moderators) let a few bad apples stay with us, and this too requires civility, understanding and maturity for someone to put up with such kind of people. There are life lessons for all of us here, folks.

Thank you and enjoy!
