Thousands of people including hundreds of households, including war
veterans, widows, and orphans, are being mercilessly evicted in
Mwerwerwe Parish, Matugga, as a result of a grand daughter of the
original Mailo Land estate owner selling to Millennium Developers, one
of the notorious real estate dealers, who are erasing the ground.
NRM Buganda Regional Task Force, Bibanja associations have intervened
but the state has not yet shown its obligation of protecting life and
property of its peasant voters.
