{UAH} WILL DONALD TRUMP FALL INTO THE MUSEVENI'S 'TERRORISM TRAP'
WILL DONALD TRUMP FALL INTO THE MUSEVENI'S 'TERRORISM TRAP'
"......look at African countries like Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda for instance, those people are stealing from their own governments and go to invest the money in foreign countries.
They are only to be used as a case study whenever bad examples are required. How do you trust even those who have ran away to hide here in the USA, hiding behind education?
I hear they abuse me in their blogs but I don't care because even the Internet they are using is ours and we can decide to switch it off from this side. These people import everything including matchsticks."
"....... I will lock Museveni and Mugabe in prison if I become President. I want to reiterate here before America's greatest heroes that I will not condone any dictators around the world especially the two old men from Zimbabwe and Uganda. Mugabe and Museveni must be put on notice that their days are numbered and that I am going to lock them in prison. If the past American administrations have failed to stop the two despots, I will personally do it.
Museveni and Mugabe have given the world enough troubles and it's about time someone put to an end to all this madness for peace to prevail.
If Obama fears them, I will never fear them. If Clinton and Bush feared them, if the Pope kneels before them, I will never be reduced to this level. I will never be coerced. I promise to clean all the political mess around the world and promote international justice."
"Sometimes I think Kenyans are a little braver because when their vote was stollen, they stood tall and gave their lives for the sake of their country.
Ugandan people are cowards. They are easily dispersed by a single teargas canister and their votes are stollen.
Museveni belongs in prison and not State House. I watched them run around like sheep when they see the police. The only true Uganda patriot is the opposition leader Dr. Kizza Basija (he pronounced it like that). There was no election in Uganda and Museveni knows it."
The above was USA President elect, Donald Trump during presidential election campaigns.
Initially, Museveni had reacted with the usual arrogance thus: "I don't know that guy, let him win the elections first."
Of course, Museveni did not expect Donald Triumph to win. However this morning after Donald Trump was declared the winner, Museveni sent him a ceremonial congratulatory message thus:
" I congratulate Donald Trump upon his election as USA President. I look forward to working with him like I've done with his predecessors".
Indeed it's him who matters and not the people of Uganda.
Donald Trump is becoming the 5th USA President ever since Museveni took power in 1986 thus why he is talking about looking forward to working with Trump, the same way he has been working with his predecessors.
For the last 30 years, Uganda's military dictator, Museveni has thrived on support from the West. However, in recent times as the west tended to question his autocracy he has switched to the eastern communist block - Russia, China, North Korea etc.
In order to get aid while at the same time evading what befell Libya's Gadafi, he has been playing blackmail by posturing as a regional ally in the fight against terrorism.
Since 2007 when he sent his troops to the never ending Somali Mission, he has repeatedly held the West at ransom.
Whenever the west has tended to question his autocracy, he has threatened to withdrawal his forces from the Somali Mission.
In extreme circumstances, he has often stage managed terrorist attacks both in Kampala and Somalia.
In the run up to the 2011 general elections when the west was closing in on him, he stage managed a terror attack on Kampala that left 76 people dead.
Consequently, in that scuffle the west scampered with messages of support for his war on terrow, he just went ahead to campaign for a fourth term of the presidency.
Since then the terror scare has been his main weapon in suppressing political dissent and suppression of freedom.
The USA Permanent Representative to the U.N, Samantha Power, recently declared that Museveni was a threat to democracy and regional stability.
Currently, he is facing a potentially explosive situation dubbed Defiance arising out of the sham February 2016 electoral process.
He continues to brutally suppress any form of political dissent. The Donald Trump victory is a big boost for the pro-change Ugandans if only they can tap into it.
Desperate ordinary Ugandans are excited with Trump victory to the extent of openly calling on him to come and attack Museveni.
They are banking on the stern action that Trump promised during campaigns. On his part, Museveni and company are in big shock because they didn't anticipate a Trump victory.
However, being the shrewd schemer that he is, Museveni must be praying for a grand terror attack that will lure Donald Trump into giving him a telephone call to express his support in the fight against terrorism.
