One of the problems we get in our homes to those using a microwave, is using a microwave that is damaged, or too old to seal the radiation within its self. When you use a microwave for a long time it can  break a seal and still works. Here is how you can test it to know if it has a leak. Put a cell phone inside your microwave, close the door, and call it. If the signal reaches your cell phone and it rings while the microwave door is closed, it means the oven has a leak.

 

Throw it out and buy another one.
