Court has further remanded businessman, Matthew Kanyamunyu and his two co-accused to Luzira Prison over alleged murder of Kenneth Watom Akena.
Kanyamunyu, 39, the executive director of Quantum Express Logistics is alleged to have shot Akena, 33, on November 13, 2016 in the stomach.

Court has further remanded businessman, Matthew Kanyamunyu and his two co-accused to Luzira Prison over alleged murder of Kenneth Watom Akena.
This after state prosecutor, Racheal Nabwire, told Nakawa court presided over by Grade One Magistrate, Noah Ssajjabi, that investigations are still on-going. He was remanded until December 20.
They were represented by lawyers Ivan Kyateka and Grace Karuhnaga, who held brief (they stood) for MacDosman Kabega.
The accused were charged with murder contrary to section 188 and 189 of the Penal Code Act. According to the Act, any person convicted of murder faces a death penalty.
According to prosecution, the accused and others still at large on November 12, 2016 along Kampala-Jinja Road opposite Malik car bond with malice aforethought caused the death of Akena, the community development officer, employed by a local non-governmental organisation.
