{UAH} Kayihura feels insecure at Naguru headquarters
By Watchdog reporter
Gen Kale Kayihura on Wednesday threw a spanner in the works, declaring police's premier security installation, the police headquarters in Naguru, not safe.
The Inspector General of Police was addressing journalists about the End of Year and New Year festivities plans.
The police boss said he felt unsafe while at Naguru.
He said, "I don't feel safe here because the security personnel seem to have relaxed."
The police headquarters in Naguru is the new home of police headquarter having moved from Kibuli and later IPS building on Parliament Avenue.
Gen Kale said the officers at the headquarters had relaxed security at the main office of the police which houses key departments in police including the IGP's office.
"In tribute to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Uganda, two bastions of strength in a world filled with strife, discrimination and terrorism."
