{UAH} Mr. President: Why is it so difficult to apply and follow the law in Uganda?

It is only when I am in Buruli one experience smoldering heat during November and December – I step on the pavement in front of my house and they are as hot as a flying pan.

The reckless cutting of forests in Western, Lake Victoria and Central Uganda has reached an optimal level that maybe in just a few years, we'll see , Uganda, I mean the whole of Uganda turned into a semi-desert.

NRM slow uptake of scientific facts is amazing.

To NRM politics is every little bit of science and that is what will characterise the unmaking of any good that has emerged over the 30 year rule. People are starving and posho is becoming staple food stuff even for the Karamajong you can imagine the nutritional value!

But maize is not there since, whenever it is planted this – no rains have come at all! It just dries up.

This brings me to another amazing inaction on NRM side. For 15 years, NRM has been talking about building silos -  yes there are stores filled with maize for example but majority are private owned!

Now the national budget is slashed – why? To fund food stuffs to feed the hungry as if fifteen years ago no one could care to store food to mitigate scarcity or simply say sell in; Kenya , Zambia, Malawi or South Sudan under the 15 year period hunger episodes have been report in those countries.

Uganda climate and weather is in such an absurd situation. It is only last year high sounding resolution were made to nullify land titles in wetlands however(!) non has been nullified so far or evicted as yet and the chaos roles on!

Why is it so difficult to apply and follow the law in Uganda by Ugandans? What is the actually cost of dilly dallying

I rest my case.
