{UAH} A WARM STORY FROM BRADFORD,UK.

A WARM STORY FROM BRADFORD,UK.

There is a moral to this little story which you will see at the end….most of you will read it to the end and some may just like without reading, but please take a minute to read it all.

Let me introduce you to Mr Ali. Mr Ali owns and works in his shop in the centre of Bradford, where I purchase my daily fix to get me through the day- my 35p energy drink.

He is a kind, honest and hardworking man. Every morning Mr Ali welcomes me kindly into his shop and occasionally chats. Mr Ali knows all about me and what I do for a job, that I'm married with 3 children, that I'm studying my CIMA and working full time. He knows all this because he makes the effort to talk to me every morning.

This man is no ordinary 'shop keeper' he goes out of his own way to look after me. Every morning he has my energy drink sat on the counter waiting for me so that I don't have to go and get it from the shelf. He even said, if ever you are running late, pull up outside and I will run out to the car.

One morning I didn't go because I had no cash on me, so the next day he asked if I was ok, he was worried because I'd not been in, so I told him I had no cash and didn't have time to go the cash machine. He replied 'If that happens again, just come in and pay me the next day!'. He often treats me to an apple or even buys me the energy drink out of his own pocket!

Yesterday he did something extraordinary, I drove to the shop and I parked up and Mr Ali was waiting at the road side for me waving with the energy drink in his hand, he said don't worry about the money, drive off to work, see you tomorrow'. Today I realise why he did this. He had a power cut and the shutters on the front of the shop wouldn't open! So he came out of the back door and waited in the rain for me! I spend 35p a day with him and he treats me like I spend £50!

I hope this post gets to his family to show my appreciation. The moral of the story…. be kind to each other be equal for all, no matter the race, gender, age, religion, or sexuality.

Go that extra mile to make someone feel special regardless of what time/money they spend on you👍🏻 like and share if you agree
