{UAH} Erias Lukwago wants DP out of Norbert Mao’s ‘sinking’ ship

The Lord Mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwago has asked the Democratic Party members to derive their party from the President General, Norbert Mao's mischief.

According to Lukwago, Mao can no longer manage the oldest political party in Uganda saying that apparently the party is like a sinking ship.

"Mao can no longer manage DP. Let him admit we have a deep crisis. The party is like a sinking ship. We need to save it including us the so called renegades," Lukwago said.

Lukwago and Mao have had a grudge and the two are long term rivals alongside Betty Nambooze and the entire brigade that formed Suubi group in 2010.
