{UAH} Handball : France qualifies for World Cup finals

As expected the French handball team defeated the

Slovania squad to qualify for the world championship finals due this coming

Sunday at 5.45 pm ( Paris time) in one of France's top

indoor stadiums. The final score was 31 - 25. Slovania

tried to stage a remarkable show throughout but they couldn't

dominate the "Experts" ( as the French squad is called) who had

almost the entire 35,000 spectators on their side.

An estimated 7.7 million French televiewers followed the match, and this

is in addition to the millions of others from other parts of the world.

In Sunday's final match France will be meeting either Croatia or Norway

who are scheduled for the other semi-final this evening ( 8.45 pm ) in Paris.
