Please watch this programme, as it highlights the problems the UK National Health Service is facing with Overseas Foreign Visitors. You may not know it, but the UK is the biggest outpost  of "Health Tourism" in the world, with hundreds of patients coming to the country for no purpose other than to get free medical treatment. Legally, non-UK citizens and non-residents are not entitled to free NHS care, except only for accidents and emergencies, but most UK hospitals and doctors have so far refused to implement government directives to charge overseas patients because they claim the hyppocratic oath  forbids them from denying treatment from anyone who needs it, and secondly that they are a medical and not an immigration or police institution, and it is not their job to determine who is, and who is not entitled to NHS care.

BBC2 are showing an episode on their 'HOSPITAL' programme Wednesday 1^st February 2017 at 9pm regarding Overseas patients.

It was filmed at Imperial college London and highlights the problems the NHS face regarding overseas Visitors to the UK. Please watch
