Yoweri Museveni's press secretary Lindah Nabusayi tweeted the above puzzling photographs just before they went viral all over East Africa.
Curious residents of the Kyeirumba village wandered over to inspect the unusual traffic disturbance. They were met by their president seated on a fold-out-chair at the side of the road taking an important call while waving to car passers-by.
After the pictures went viral, both Kenyans and Ugandans took it to twitter using the hashtag #M7challenge. Others came up with some hilarious memes while others decided to transport Yoweri Museveni into some unfamiliar settings.
