- New SGR passenger trains have arrived in Mombasa from China

Brand new and sleek passenger trains have arrived in Mombasa from China ready to roar on the new Standard Gauge Railway line.

The wagons which almost look like bullet trains we see in movies being used in First World countries will travel on the new line making going to and from Mombasa a heavenly experience.

The railway line according to government mandarins is 90 something per cent complete and will be ready for use any time.

Some weeks ago, Kenyans lampooned the government for being duped by the Chinese after photos of ugly looking SGR wagons similar to those once used in the First World war emerged.
Will leaked photos of the sleek trains finally redeem the government which has been condemned for spending too many billions of the SGR? Only time will tell.
