{UAH} Ocen, Allan//Speaker Ryan calls Wikileaks' Assange "Russian sycophant"
Folks;
How will the GOP govern with this brewing differences?
Where the president-elect and a handful of his minders see Wikileaks' Julian Assange as harmless, and even innocent, majority of lawmakers from both aisles, see Assange as a towering threat to US national security.
It gets more bizarre, if not worse:
Sarah Palin, the scatterbrain former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP Vice-Presidential candidate, took to Facebook the other day, to apologize to Assange for having called him a criminal and traitor.
Palin's initial outrage at Assange followed hacks into her email accounts.
Apparently, all is forgiven now that Assange allegedly hacked into the email accounts of the Democratic party and party officials, which, US intelligence believes, was at the behest of Russia to make possible Trump's presidency.
Either Trump and his ilk are too blinded by their temporal power to see the harm Assange and Putin are doing to the US, or they had all along feigned umbrage when Assange first released his infamous leaks that discussed them.
Whatever the case, Trump and his few handlers are demonstrating unbelievable shallowness in comprehending matters that pertain to the national interest of the United States.
