My young nephew tragically died in a road traffic accident over Olweny bridge, near Dokolo in Lango, yesterday, apparently in a collision with a lorry. Very bad news, considering I have only last week completed the final burial of the young Denis Opio who died died of cancer at Lacor Hospital two weeks ago. This is the third nephew of mine to die on Ugandan roads, Christopher died on the Karuma Highway last year and Peter died on the Soroti-Lira Road in 2011. Ugandan roads are real killers. Truly devastating for my sister. Hope his soul rests in peace.
