Subject: Important Tube strike update
| Are our emails displaying well on your device? If not, allow images or view online | | | | | | | | | Dear Mr Okelld, Station staff who are RMT union members are currently planning strikes. If the strikes go ahead, there will be a significant impact on Tube journeys from 20:00 Sunday 5 February until around 11:00 Wednesday 8 February. We will run as many services as possible to get people close to Central London and will open as many stations as we can. However, it is very likely that many, particularly those in Zone 1, will not open at all or will close at short notice. We will run additional bus and river services. Buses, roads and rail services are expected to be much busier than usual, particularly those bus routes serving major interchange stations. If possible, please complete your journey in Central London by walking to your destination. All other TfL services including London Overground, TfL Rail, Trams, DLR, the Emirates Air Line and Santander Cycles will be operating as normal. Please check before you travel, allow more time for your journey and avoid the peak times if at all possible. For the latest information, please visit tfl.gov.uk/tube-strike or follow @TfLTravelAlerts, @TfLTrafficNews or @TfLBusAlerts on Twitter. | | | | | | | Yours sincerely, | | Mark Wild Managing Director, London Underground | | | | | | | These are our customer service updates about getting around London.
