Today Uganda has got many billionaires including the likes of Sudhir Ruparelia, Wavamuno, Basajjabalabaand many others, the youth have also fought for themselves by creating jobs and others through various annual inspirational brain-storming programmes such as the Pakasa forum etc, I am telling you if you happen to attend any of these programmes, you will learn how to make money and it will widen your mind.

However, Newslex point research team analyzed a few successful young men in Uganda who have managed to become their own bosses by creating their own businesses, they are truly innovative and inspirational young entrepreneurs in the country with multi-billions.

  • Kiggundu Hamisi

He is a young billionaire that discovered a state of art buildings around kampala, he is the owner of a very popular real estate multi-billion company in the city known as Ham Enterprises which includes commercial buildings such as Ham Shopping Centre at St.Balikudembe Market commonly known as Owino which is reportedly said to be partly undertaken as a public private partnership with Nakivubo Stadium Board of Trustees and another Ham Towers is located next to Makerere University main gate and etc.

Ashish was born in United Kingdom in 1981 after his parents had moved to UK in 1972 when Idi Amin expelled Asians from Uganda, later the young Ashish and his family moved to Rwanda where they were also forced to leave due to 1994 genocide, they fled to Burundi for a while and later came to Uganda, at the age of 15,Ashish dropped out of school to begin his own business with a loan of $5000. Today he is the Co-founder and CEO of Mara Group which deals in IT services, real estates and Agricultures, he is also the Co-founder of Atlas Mara which is in partnership with Bob Diamond, a company that invests in commercial banking institutions in Africa, in 2013 both Ashish and Bob Diamond managed to raise $325 million in funding.

  • Haruna Sentongo

Sentongo is a young business man owning a multi-billion real estate company known as Haruna Enterpriseswhich includes commercial building in the city such as Haruna Towers in Wandegeya and another one located in Ntinda, one of Kampala's suburbs.

The 28 year old is a young brother to Hamisi Kiggundu of Ham Enterprises.

  • Dr. Innocent Nahabwe

Miraj is one of Uganda's youngest billionaires managing three different family businesses such as Tirupati Development, Tulip Consultancy, Virat Alloys and the recently acquired Sembule Steel Mills. In 2012, Uganda Investiment Authority named Miraj Barot as the youngest entrepreneur, he invested over $30 millioninTirupati Development, a real commercial estate Which includes Ovino market, Mazima mall in Kabalagala,Kyebando warehouses and etc.

  • Albert Muganga

Albert is a young entrepreneur and a billionaire, the founder of the private limited logistics company in Uganda known as Kenlloyd Logistics, Albert who is also married to Sam Kuteesa's daughter Ishta Kuteesa, was also appointed by a German logistics company called DB Schenker as their country exclusive representative, a real estate dealer and also a majority shareholder of Pioneer Easy Bus.

  • Deox Tibeingana

Deox is also one of the youngest billionaires in Uganda, he is the founder of a very powerful and efficient full-service law firm known as Tibeingana and Company Advocates which handles legal work for giant companies, he is an advocate of the high court of Uganda and all courts of judicature in Uganda, he is also the owner of Rivonia Hotel located in Mbuya, in Kampala, his hotel has 16 suites and a luxurious health club, he is also a real estate dealer.

  • Mugisha Odrek Rwabwogo

Mugisha is a young billionaire owning a public relations company known asTerp Consult which has got several lucrative contracts from the government, the major one being the US$1 million Gifted By NatureCNNmarketing campaign. Mugisha who is married to a president's second daughter, Patience Museveni was also awarded the 2007 CHOGMcommunication and publicity contract which he managed with Saatchi & Saatchi Company.

  • Edwin Karugire

Edwin is one of the youngest billionaires in the country, he is one of the Co-founders of a powerful law firm known as Kiwanuka & Karugire Advocateslocated on Acaccia avenue in Kampala, he is reportedly said to have managed the selling of the former assets of Uganda Railway Corporation, Edwin who married the eldest daughter of the president, Natasha Museveni also handles very powerful legal cases worth of billions of money, he also owns one of the biggest cattle farms in the country and he is a real estate dealer with serious buildings in Kampala.
