{UAH} BOBI WINE GRABS AMBASSADOR KINTU NYAGO'S LAND

Brothers and sisters, Bobi Wine, a popular singer, has grabbed land
from AMBASSADOR Kintu Nyago Deputy Permanent Preventative to UN.
The land is at Busaabala landing site ,Masajja Municipal Division,
Makindye Ssaabgabo Municipality, Wakiso District.
Fraudulently, Bobi wine is working with some officials of "Buganda
Land Board" to get a land lease from Nyago's kibanja, as a customary
tenant, in accordance with laws of Uganda.
In 2006,Nyagoregularised his kibanja holding with KK accompany that
registered bibanja holders on Kabaka's Official Mailo, during rule of
Dan Muliika, as Katikkiro.
Nyago was a volunteer in defending bibanja holders with Haji Ediriisa
Seddunga and they formed Bibanja Association under Sylvester
Ssekamatte.
Bobi Wine is using the absence of Nyago, on duty in NewYork ,to grab
his kibanja.
If the likes of Nyago are done so, what about the peasants?
StateHouselandintervenorsunderCapt.GertrudeNnnayunjaNjuba,including
Suzan Abo, a former DP youth leader, should come to his rescue.
State Minister for Lands Namuganza should do the same otherwise we
will try to recall the days of Idah Nantaba in the same office.
Under 1993restration of traditional leaders property ,development
found on the land had to be respected.
Under1997LandAct, Nyago is a legitimate owner of his kibanja. He can
only be evicted if he fails to pay Busuulu and by a court order.
Under Busuulu and Envujjo Law of 1927,Nyagoowns his kibanja holding in
perpetuity.
