{UAH} MUK suspends Dr. Stella Nyanzi

Makerere needs to understand Nyanzi's interests of research. I have of recently extensively read her works and related to her pads4girlug campaign. She is within her qualifications as a medical anthropologist. Makerere needs to understand that their is a difference between Nyanzi's social media page and Makerere University. If am to borrow from Bennett et al 2012, Nyanzi's works are pro the logic of collectiveness and connectedness for what Bennett and his colleague call a digital networked action. If Makerere ranked 701 globally can't respect academic freedom its sad. besides Makerere has no legal authority to speak against Nyanzi since Nyanzi's message is directed to a different person that is said to have said she forgave. so what is the basis for Makerere to act. until Makerere wakes up, it will be too late.
