{UAH} Peckham has been named the best place to live in London

Frank Mujabi,

I hope Peckham does not go the same way as Brixton. It is the only one true "African town" in London- but like Brixton, which used to be almost 80% black, Peckham is fast changing- it is being gentrified, the council blocks are being knocked down and beautiful single story apartments are being constructed, attarcting home buyers and moving the council tenants out because they cant afford it. And Peckham is just 15 minutes from central London; the same has happened to nearby Elephant and castle, which has been changed almost beyond recognition. S till do all my African food shopping in Peckham and nearby Deptford.- the African markets in Peckham are vibrant but supermarkets will soon kick them out.

Bobby

Del Boy's old stomping ground is the place to be in 2017.

Dubbed 'the new Dalston', it's been London-wide knowledge for a while now that Peckham's a pretty exciting neighbourhood to live in.
