I met Mzee Aggrew Awori last week, and it dawned on me how once he was an epitome of oratory, one of the most articulate and sober politicians that I have ever known.

Looking at him pale, eaten up by age but trying hard with his husky voice to explain why it's good for museveni to remain at the helm of leadership of Uganda, made me believe that the museveni charm and allure should be so strong to even steal away the best brains this country ever produced, use them and dump.
