{UAH} French presidential election : campaigns officially begin today!

  Le Pen 24%                      Macron 24%                                Malenchon 18%

Today Monday ( 10/04/2017 ) is formally the official opening day of the French presidential
poll whose first round will be held at the end of the month (Sunday 30/04/2017 ). And if none
of the eleven candidates scores 50% plus one vote on that day there will be a second round
two weeks from then. Today the electoral law on this election comes into force. All the 11candidates will have their posters officially billed in 7000 places officially agreed on by various municipalities and village councils. They will be removed on the eve of election day. And after this first round election, which won't of course produce an outright winner, new posters, this time for the two final candidates will be billed and will stay on until the eve of polling day. Equally, as from today, each of the eleven candidates will have the same amount of time on TV and other news medias to elaborate on his/her programme, etc...
According to a new opinion poll officially released this mid-day Ms Marine Le Pen and
Mr Emmanuel Macron are now running neck and neck each credited with 24% of the poll intentions and, as for the third position, candidate Jean-Luc Malenchon has overtaken former rightist premier Mr François Fillon to stand third with 18% of the intentions. Fillon now trails in fourth position with 17% and the last, among the big ones, is Mr Benoît Hamon with 9%.
Malenchon's rise continues to surprise many. And yesterday he addressed a record rally attended by 70,000 people! One media study predicts a final 27% for him by election day.
He is widely cheered by many for his vision on many issues. He believes in an action to help those developing countries by stamping there democracy in all principles in order to clear away all those political problems that push the natives to run away from their countries. He has been wildly cheered on this question. All candidates share this opinion....!
G.H.K.
