ISIS to Americans: 'You are being run by an idiot'
ISIS thinks the United States is "being run by an idiot" — saying Tuesday that the country was drowning now that President Trump is in office.
"America, you have drowned, and there is no savior," Islamic State spokesman Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer said in a recording posted on the Telegraph messaging network.
"You have become prey for the soldiers of the caliphate in every part of the earth, you are bankrupt and the signs of your demise are evident to every eye," he added. "There is no more evidence than the fact that you are being run by an idiot who does not know what Syria or Iraq or Islam is."
The comments mark the first time the terror group has publicly commented about Trump since his inauguration, according to Reuters.
The president has been very vocal about defeating ISIS since taking office.
US-led coalition forces are currently fighting to retake two of their biggest strongholds — the Iraqi city of Mosul and Raqqa in Syria.
"Die of spite America, die of spite," al-Muhajer continued. "A nation where both young and old are racing to die in the name of God will not be defeated."
