{UAH} Toroma: Police block FDC relief food distribution
Allan,
As we regret the death of AIGP Andrew Kaweesi, it is unfortunate that the living police officers block food aid distribution to starving people in Toroma Subcounty, Toroma, Katakwi. What is in those police officers' minds, what peace can one have in an empty stomach? I am lost at the kind of people posing in police uniform, maybe those are thugs in police uniforms because my understanding of police is that they are supposed to be humane and intelligent but these ones seem to have left their brains somewhere, perhaps at the training schools or in their offices.
They even rejected pleas by my former teacher and retired bishop Dr. Charles Ebitu Obaikol; where will people that reject a bishop's wise counsel end, not hell?
What is more tragic is that such officer will be promoted for bravely preventing food distribution and will be mentioned and awarded a Hero's medal for his "patriotism" and gallantry in starving the hungry people who were about to receive food.
