{UAH} Ssebagala tells Mao he will achieve nothing by summoning people to face disciplinary action

Nasser Ntege Ssebagala says Norbert Mao, the DP President is summoning the wrong person and will not do much with disciplinary action.

DP is torn between the President Mao group and the rebel group under the leadership of Erias Lukwago.

Mao's faction came out this week to summon Beti Nambooze after her failed rally at Sharing in Nsambya.

Ssebagala in an interview with NBS Tv, said: "Democratic Party's disciplinary committee is not going to do much in harmonizing party issues."

The former Kampala Mayor, addvised: "What DP should do is to dialogue with its members rather than summon them for disciplinary action."

He explained his departure: "After a delegates conference in Mbale, we disagreed with some of the things that the party was presenting and we quit."

On the summons, Ssebaggala said: "I think they summoned the wrong person. I quit DP long time ago."
