WE WILL TURN THIS AROUND. 

WE SHALL END KAYIBANDA MUSEVENI'S BRUTAL TYRANNY, 

WE SHALL DISMANTLE RWANDAN OCCUPATION; 

WE SHALL STOP THE BLEEDING; 

WE SHALL HEAL THE WOUNDS; AND 

WE SHALL REPAIR THE BROKEN HEARTS.

Shoulder to shoulder
we will turn this around,
Growing bolder and bolder
we will stand our ground,
Together we are stronger,
Fear and hate cease to exist,
Strength comes from our hearts
Not from resentment, or the fist.

we will urge for better times,
Growing bolder and bolder
we will suppress unwanted crimes,
Together we are stronger,
We show example – walk the walk,
Strength comes from our hearts
There's no need for fighting talk.

Shoulder to shoulder
we will turn this around,
Growing bolder and bolder
we will stand our ground,
Together we are stronger
Hate cannot compete,
Strength comes from our hearts
There's no ills we can't defeat!

Whatever the cause, don't let anyone say you can't, because you can! X
