First pictures of Kingston honour killing victim Celine Dookhran 'dragged out of shower, tasered, raped and murdered for dating a Muslim Arab'
The young woman's body was found in South West London last week
THESE are the first pictures of a teen Indian Muslim who was allegedly dragged out of a shower and tasered before being raped and murdered in an honour killing.
Celine Dookhran, 19, was claimed to have been tied up with duct tape and rope before being bundled into a vehicle, with the court hearing she was murdered for starting a relationship with an Arab Muslim.
The teen, and a friend in her 20s, were then driven to a house being renovated, where builder Mujahid Arshid, 33, allegedly raped them and fatally cut Celine's throat in anhonour killing.
Her body was found inside the South West London home last week after it is said another woman alerted police from hospital.
Ms Dookhran was killed on July 19, and a post mortem gave the cause of death as an incised wound to the neck.
Thd court heard family members claim they had to calm the accused when he grabbed an axe and screwdriver, threatening the boyfriend.
Arshid, 33, appeared in court yesterday, charged with the murder, rape and kidnap of 19-year-old.
Arshid is further charged with the rape, attempted murder and kidnap of the second woman.
He appeared alongside his co-defendant, Vincent Tappu, 28, who is charged with the kidnap of both women.
Binita Roscoe, prosecuting, said: "The deceased was involved in a relationship with an Arab Muslim and the family members didn't approve of this relationship because they are Indian Muslims."
Bearded Arshid wore a grey prison-issue tracksuit, while his co-defendant wore a black suit and white shirt, with short black hair and a beard.
They were flanked by three dock officers.
A young man and a woman sat in the packed public gallery during the hearing at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court.
A middle aged man and a woman, wearing a head scarf, sat in the well of the court, who Tappu nodded at.
