Gunmen Raid Police Chief's Home, Wife Feared Raped
Superintendent of police Vincent Sekate is counting himself a lucky man after armed thugs raided his home and robbed him clean.
Sekate the deputy police public relations officer in charge of CID and Interpol was attacked by armed robbers at his home on Entebbe road last weekend.
It is reported that the thugs made away with hard cash worth shs 60m, phones, TV and other home accessories worth millions of money.
Sources narrated to us that the armed thugs raided the wealthy Sekate's home before they forced themselves into his bedroom where he and his wife were sleeping and were put on gunpoint.
He was asked to choose between his life and the money before the latter surrendered the 60m he had reportedly obtained after a good deal in town.
Vincent Sekate is one of the majority shareholders in Top Bet a top city betting company.
Source added that, Sekate was letter tied on the bed while his wife was also tied in the bathroom.
After a successful mission, the thugs jumped from over the gate and fled.
Later, Sekate called the maid who helped to untie him and the wife.
When we contacted Sekate for the comment, he confirmed the incident but he denied the rape of his wife.
