According to Mathias Mpuuga, '600 Acres of General Saleh's land returned to Govt at 1bn, to correct historical colonial injustices in Buganda!! It has never occurred to me that General Saleh's Jjajja was one of the land lords in Buganda who benefited from the colonial magnanimity towards Buganda. And the good General retains an extra 8 Sq Mls in the same area, land formerly belonging to East Mengo Cooperative Union; historical injustice indeed!!!'
