Two solutions to the marriage suitability gap: Marry young or lower your standards.
Particularly in the black community (Muslim or not) there's seems to be a huge gap between the success of women and men by a particular age (mid 20s- mid 30s), if women lower their standards in areas like level of education, previously married, etc. even though it may be hard on their ego it may be better in the long run or at least make their marriage options wider and allows them to focus more on things like character, deen, work ethic, etc. But getting married young also avoids the"marriage suitability gap" altogether because it gives younger people a chance to grow together...
