{UAH} Dear Uganda Communications Commission

Dear Uganda Communications Commission are you aware that MTN Uganda, Airtel Uganda and Africell Uganda hiked their airtime where a voucher of UgX 500 is now at 600 and 1000 at 1100 in various parts of Uganda moreover towns! mention Masaka, Makindye, Ibanda, Mbarara, Mukono, Mityana, Soroti, Buikwe among others.

If it's official now answer me this. The price tag on the on voucher is 500 or 1000 and when you load the airtime it shows "You have loaded 500 or 1000" depending on the denomination you have loaded yet you paid an extra charge of 100. Where does my 100 go?? Isn't this exploitation of the consumers???

Well, if these telecommunications companies are not aware of this scam I would like them to officially distance themselves from this fraud because #OmuntuWawaasi is being exploited. And if Uganda Communications Commission can't help, release a statement that you have failed your responsibility of regulating Telecom companies and protecting the consumers against exploitation by the telecom companies.

Please, we are fed up of being objectified in our mother country!!
