{UAH} Florence Kasumba, a Ugandan to feature in Disney’s “The Lion King” movie

Florence Kasumba set to feature in Disney's THE LION KING an animated movie which is set to be released in July 19th 2019.

Kasumba a Ugandan born actress based in America is set to feature in an upcoming Disney Animated movie THE LION KING as Shenzi.

Kasumba also is well known for playing the part of Ayo in Captain America Civil War, a role she will reprise in the upcoming Black Panther both from Marvel Studios.

Kasumba also featured in a block buster movie, THE WONDER WOMAN as Senetor Acantha and the Wicked witch of the east in the NBC Television series the EMERALD CITY.

Kasumba was earlier nominated for the Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts Awards for the International Rising Star in 2016 against Lupita Nyong'o, John Boyega and Lisa Awuku all from the African soil.

Kasumba is also due to appear alongside Nyong'o in Black Panther, with both their characters being members of the Dora Milaje.
