Is Kagame The New Gaddafi & Rwanda Gaddafi's Libya
So I've been reading comments on one of Timothy Kalyegira 's posts about Ugandans having harsh and angry uncalled for comments than Rwandans over the Kampala Express photos and captions of Rwanda taken during the editor's photo research trip to currently the most hyped nation in East Africa a few days ago. This particular comment by Mugoya Dany caught my attention.
"Tim, this kind of rudeness is everywhere online in all countries enjoying freedom of speech and expression. Truth is, Rwandans may actually be more bitter than Ugandans if we are to use history.
That 94 genocide alone and Ugandans' tolerance of this poor regime should show you how much Ugandans are willing to bare the pain unlike Rwandans.
Now the only challenge that Kagame is facing in his dictatorship unlike Museveni is that, he will be shocked by the Rwandans bitterness as a whole and not in portions like Museveni.
No one ever imagined that Libya, a country you would go study and finish and get accommodation and a job would be rags now. I think even Gaddafi wherever he is is still in shock.
The reason is simple, when you over clean the carpet from the inside of the house, you will never know how much dirt you have under it.
Museveni's dictatorship with some freedom of expression and speech helps him a lot in checks and balances unlike Kagame.
Museveni has always the chance to know what is pressing his people and he chooses how to react to it, this wisdom is lacking in Kagame and its because of this lack of wisdom that Gaddafi is resting in peace."
After reading that, I asked a female friend a simple question, if you have a guy that gives you everything but denies you the freedom of expression and speech in the relationship, would you be happy?
She said, "for the first months, I could, but later it will get boring since I have no relationship but just a slave to him or his money. And since he doesn't know how I feel every other day about him, he should be ready to be shocked by my disappearance without notice."
In this case, disappearance can be rebellion with an intention of overthrowing the regime with a no turning back mindset just like it was in Libya. Question is; is Kagame the new Gaddafi and Rwanda Gaddafi's Libya?

Allaah gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him."And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things." (6:17)
