{UAH} Woolwich plan for 750 homes, cinema and shops at Spray Street inch forward

Frank Mujabi,

See how Woolwich is being regenerated!! It is alsmost unrecognisable from the Woolwich I lived in in the 1990s. All the Council TTower blocks have been demolished and are being replaced with modern buildings and apartments like these. Along the Thames Rive now looks like Dubai. Modern- high class buildings have sprung up. Woolwich is nolonger a market town- in fact it is now applying for a City Status, just like Croydon. The transformation of Woolwich makes me feel so ashamed to be an African because all these changes have taken place when I am in Woolwich. You cant say the same about our own coutntry, We have gone back to the stobne ages- some say even fruther back to the Ice Age, under the corrupt and cruel regime of Kayibanda Museveni. What has never ceased to amaze me is the fact that the UK, and particularly London City, is a country in constant development. You can not walk more than 10 minutes on any street in London  withouit seein a sign of development!! Truly amazing

Bobby
