l was listening to Beti Namisango Kamya Turyomwe on one of radio talk
shoqws. l think it was Top Raxdio one Saturday some time back, which
was broadcast on Top TV the following Sunday.
A founder member of Reform Agenda, and FDC, Beti Kamya was for
Amuriat. Reason: Muntu had failed to block Besigye to stand in 2016
but Amuriat will not allow him in 2021.
At one time, Kamya was quoted as saying, elese where, that while
Besigye and Muntu, but on destroying Baganda leaders, they see as
threat, they agree. They did igt in fighting Beti Kamya, so that she
could not become Secretary General, they did it against Sam Kalega
Njuba, so that he could not become Leader of Opposition in Parliament,
and recently they did it against Kikonyogo.
They prefer school drop outs like the late Vincent Kimera, who was
Vice Chair , Joyce Ssebuggwawo who has no equivalent of HSC, Biriggwa
who is edged and a political failure.
Besigye has destroyed Muntu when he claimed that he was a Rwandese.
Even when he was appointed Army Commander in 1989, the likes of David
Sejusa could be heard as saying that he was a Rwandese. Only in
Buganda that the Rwandese are accepted, elese where they are not.
Muntu should have been with a national image as a son of a former UPC
man, Muntuyera who was very close to Obote. But now UPC strongholds in
north and north east are saying that they have fallen into things when
Amuriat became a party leader. He is an Iteso but gthe mother is from
Acholi. So Besigye and Muntu, prepare your political graves.
