Kenya: Kilimani Husband Found Dead With Vodka Bottle After Night Rampage

A man died on his bed in Kilimani after drinking alcohol, 10 days after he was discharged from hospital where he was treated for the substance abuse.

Ms Mary Kiprop said she arrived at home on Wednesday and found the door locked from inside.

"With the help of neighbours, she forced the door open. She found her husband's sprawled on the bed. Beside him were treatment notes and drugs indicating that he was admitted at Avenue Hospital between November 20 and November 25," according to a preliminary police report.

It added: "Also found beside the bed was an empty bottle of Kibao Vodka which he is suspected to have consumed."

The body of Mr Hillary Kibet Bore, 40 was transported from the Dubai flats apartment on Karanja road to Chiromo mortuary.
